La Medéa (2020)
In this re-telling of Euripides' classic story, Medéa is the owner of La Botanica de Medéa, a Dominican herb shop in Jackson Heights, Queens, where she is also a Vudú mistress. As her husband Jason has abandoned her and their sons, she has been cast into a deep despair over the state of her life. Sappho at Mytilene (2021)
This lyrical piece invites the audience into the world of the 7th Century Mediterranean to follow the legendary events that follow on the day of Sappho's wedding to the ferryman Phaon. When the god of love intervenes, chaos ensues, and everything we have known about the famed poet of Lesbos is turned on its head. Alcestis (2022)
Continuing a trend in re-telling the classic dramas of Euripides, we see the tragic death of Alcestis in the bed of her husband Admetos transplanted into the lives of a Guyanese-Hindu family, living in the Jamaica Estates area of Queens. What follows is a heart-wrenching story of love and spirituality as Admetos, his daughter, and a Chorus of Aunties prepare for their loss with ritual and mantra. As the devas look down on this terrible circumstance, all will change when Admetos receives one peculiar guest only just before his beloved wife departs.

Combined (2022)
This deeply personal and experimental piece revolves around the coming-of-age stories of two boys who are paired together for competition in acrobatic gymnastics. For the two being as far opposite as can be, the bond they share is unmistakable. Following Will and Geo through three periods of their lives with the guidance of trusty Coach Favorit and under the glare of Mrs. Newson, Will's mother, this bond will be tested as the duo push themselves (and the audience) to extremes.

Black Athena, White Drama
Re-Historicizing the Tradition of Greek Drama in Today's Theatre History Classroom
This presentation examines how the erasure of culture affects the accessibility needs of the modern, multicultural students. Martin Bernal's 1987 opus Black Athena: The Afroasiatic Roots of Classical Civilization serves a framework of thinking about how integrated the Ancient Mediterranean really was. Moreover, this line of thinking brings up questions of racial and cultural identity in the casts of extant Greek Tragedy. The solution of accessibility comes in a dramatic shift in inviting students to interact with the texts in new and creative ways.

The Prompt Script as Codex
Defining Rehearsal Marginalia as Rhetorical Practice
This article attempts to bridge the gap between rhetorical studies and theatrical practice. The two fields developed from similar backgrounds in the Western canon, yet for some reason, they have grown apart in most disciplines and programs. In the singular production literary resource, a bounty of rhetorical motivation is found, which directly correlates with simulated performance (per Jean Baudrillard) and the genre of codex (per Damián Baca). In the end, the reading and writing skills employed are wildly similar.
